How can I root my Tecno Camon C9 Pro?


Requirements
You will need Absolute patience in following the steps involved in this guide
*. Setup ADB and Fastboot on the PC using the guide ( See Here )
*. Flashing the Hovatek Philz recovery.img (download here)
*. For the SuperSU2.76.zip (download it here)
*. Unlocking the boot-loader of Tecno Camon C9 Pro

Copy/ transfer Copy SuperSU.zip to the phone’s SD card (Its important you insert an SD card)
2. Now you will have to Extract and copy the Hovatek Philz recovery.img into the same folder as the fastboot.exe and adb.exe
3. Follow the steps in the link provided below to Unlock Tecno Camon C9 Pro bootloader (see Here)
4.next is to Connect the phone to your PC with the help of your USB cord while your phone is switched ON and boot it into Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader unlock guide)
5. The moment your device enters fast boot, flash the recovery.img to the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
6. Reboot the phone by typing the command below then pressing Enter
fastboot reboot
6. Once recovery is flashed in fastboot, hold the Volume up + Power button and don’t release till the phone reboots. When it does, select Recovery from the list to proceed to recovery mode
8. In Philz recovery, you use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select
9. Select Install Zip
10. Now navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.76.zip on the SD Card and select it
11. Wait till flashing is complete
12. If android promts you to fix root, select No
13. Reboot the phone normally
14. Finally confirm Root access on your Tecno Camon C9 Pro by installing and running Root
